This is my quilt studio. There is a porch off to the right. The door is to the right of the log cabin quilt. The view from the window is all woods.
The design wall is where the yellow quilt is hanging. The Stairstep quilt is hanging in the spot where I photograph finished quilts. The ironing board is in the foreground. The cutting table is beyond the sewing machine.
Here is the husband's sofa/my reading spot.
The fabric storage drawers are by Elfa from The Container Store. They are loaded and heavy, but they are holding up great. I got the yarn storage grid at Target. It's open to the back, but adequate for yarn.
My room was never this organized again since the day these photos were taken. There's always lots of cutting, sewing, basting, etc. going on. It's great to have room to play!
Really? It doesn't look like this anymore? Bet there are great quilts going on in there. I love all the room. I turned my living room into my quilting studio, but it is nowhere as big as yours.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully large bright happy place to be creative in. I am so dreaming and envisioning myself in this space. I'm fitting in well. :)

beautiful. I'm envious of all that room. That isn't much of a stash! You've really sewn it all up.
ReplyDeleteInspiring space! Love all the natural light too.
